This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing an old friend of mine and her charming fiance. The shoot was in Shepherdstown, which is a beautiful location. I had a lot of fun photographing them. I'm so happy that they found each other and very grateful that I was able to capture their love and happiness. Seeing that kind of love in person is truly special and a beautiful thing. Congratulations Vianey and Conner! I'm so happy for you!

I love photographing couples. I'm a hopeless romantic, so seeing other people in love is just the sweetest thing to me. When I photograph them, it's not about just doing common poses or just "1,2,3, smile". It's about photographing what's natural to them; photographing their interactions with each other. I told them to pretend I wasn't there, which is obviously a hard task. But I was so surprised in them. They would ask for my help and to pose them, next thing I knew, I would look up and they would be doing something incredibly sweet! That's what's so beautiful about photographing love between two people. It's not an act, it's real.

And here's a behind the scenes photo. It was a fun photoshoot. :)
